Video Interview
The HireVue video interview system used by Emirates allows candidates to complete pre-recorded interview questions remotely using a webcam and microphone.
Once you begin, you’ll typically have 30 seconds to prepare and 2–3 minutes to respond to each question.
These questions are designed to assess your communication skills, decision-making, leadership, and alignment with Emirates’ core values.
To prepare effectively, practice answering behavioral questions using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result), ensure a quiet, well-lit environment, and present yourself professionally—just as you would in a face-to-face interview.
Familiarizing yourself with Emirates’ values and reviewing common pilot interview questions can also boost your confidence and performance.
We recommend using Airline Interviews AI to practice mock video interviews.
